Walking up to Vranovská 12, you’re in this surprisingly quiet residential pocket of Brno that feels miles away from the tourist crowds, even though you’re actually just a quick tram ride from the city center. The building itself has that understated Czech charm – nothing flashy, but solid and welcoming in a way that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere real people actually live.
What I loved most was how the staff clearly knows their neighborhood inside and out. The woman at reception – I wish I remembered her name – gave me these incredibly specific directions to a local bakery that I never would’ve found otherwise, and she was spot-on about which tram stops to avoid during rush hour. The apartments themselves are exactly what you’d hope for from a well-run 3-star place: clean, functional, with those little touches that show someone actually cares. The kitchenettes are properly equipped (I mean, there’s actually decent cookware, not just the sad plastic stuff you usually get), and the Wi-Fi works consistently throughout the building, which honestly can’t be taken for granted in older European buildings.
You know what really impressed me though? The sound insulation. Vranovská can get a bit busy during weekday mornings with locals heading to work, but inside the apartments it’s remarkably peaceful. I’m someone who usually packs earplugs religiously, but I didn’t need them here. The beds are comfortable enough that I actually slept in a few mornings – something that rarely happens when I’m traveling. There’s decent storage space too, which sounds boring but trust me, after living out of a suitcase for a few days, you’ll appreciate having actual drawers and closet space. The only minor gripe I had was that the shower pressure could be better, but it’s consistent and the water gets properly hot, so I’m not complaining too much. For the price point and that solid 8.2 rating, SuperNova delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense – a comfortable, authentic base for exploring Brno that doesn’t feel like a generic hotel experience.

What could be improved: Požadavek na kauci, která pak nebyla vrácena celá (bez jakéhokoli odůvodnění) a celkové jednání pronajímatele (např. že si dovolí žádat příplatek za telefonní kontakt). Prostě jako z jiného tisíciletí.

What could be improved: Deposit - I got 10e less than I paid. Dont know the reason, maybe bacause of transactional fees or they charged for smth. But anyway accommodation was more expensive in total than I wanted to pay for it. Huge noise from the street impossible to sleep with open window.

The best thing about this place is that we needed only for sleep at night. Otherwise it would be very uncomfortable to stay more.
What could be improved: First of all, the deposit thing. We were suprised about it. First time we were seeing this. I can agree that it was our mistake and next time we will know to double check it and and don’t do these bookings. After that deposit I was expecting something normal inside the apartments but we found 2 beds on the floor and they were different size… i’m so annoyed when the owners can’t make this simple thing to be normal experience. Now I understand why there is no photos of the beds in this platform. Also there is no curtains, hard to sleep with light from the street.

Hi ask for more money , even when we came on adress he didnt show apartman ...just ask for more money online.I found beautiful hotel near..so i think he is cheater...Worst expirence on booking ever.

What could be improved: Lots of hidden fees, very poor service, cleaning could be a lot better... The hidden deposit under important notes extremely bothersome... Very greedy host... Trying to make money off every little thing... Almost no kitchen utensils general I do not recommend

I like how clean and new the place is. Though there were other comments, i stayed pretty comfortable. The bathroom is also clean!
What could be improved: A €100 deposit is i think too much. Doesnt even have internet connection. Maybe add curtains as it might be too hot during summer. Might get too noisy since its on a busy road (trams pass by) and cant close the window since it got too hot and theres no curtains.

Blízko středu města, snadná dostupnost. Skvělá a rychlá komunikace s ubytovateli. Nové, ještě voňavé ubytování s malinkými nedostatky - ubytovatel aktivně požádal o připomínky, aby mohl vše rychle napravit.
