Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Brno, and honestly, the K on Kobližná Street surprised me in the best way. You know that stretch of cobblestone right in the heart of the old town? That’s where you’ll find this place – literally steps from Svoboda Square where all the action happens, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists singing under your window at 2 AM.
The self check-in thing had me worried at first (I mean, what if something goes wrong?), but it’s actually brilliant. They send you the codes beforehand, and there’s this sleek little system that works perfectly – no awkward lobby small talk when you roll in exhausted from travel. The building itself has that gorgeous Austrian-era facade you see all over this part of Brno, but inside it’s been completely modernized without losing character. The rooms are what I’d call “smart small” – everything you need is there, designed really thoughtfully so it doesn’t feel cramped. I particularly loved the bathroom setup; they clearly thought about how real people actually use the space.
What really won me over was the location intelligence behind this place. You’re a two-minute walk to Zelný trh (the cabbage market, which sounds terrible but is actually this charming little square with the best fruit vendors), and maybe five minutes to catch the tram if you want to head up to Špilberk Castle or out to the modern part of the city. But honestly, you might not want to leave the neighborhood – there’s this incredible wine bar called Sklípek just around the corner that locals actually go to, and the morning coffee scene on nearby streets is legitimately some of the best I’ve found in Central Europe. The 9.2 rating makes total sense when you experience how everything just… works. The WiFi is fast, the heating actually heats, and they’ve thought through all those little details that budget places usually mess up. I stayed during a particularly cold February, and while other friends were complaining about their hotel rooms being either freezing or stuffy, mine was just right. Plus – and this matters if you’re planning to explore – you can walk to pretty much everything worth seeing in the center, which saves you a fortune on taxis and gives you that authentic feel of actually living in the city for a few days rather than just visiting it.

Výborné vybavení (od zubní pasty až po papírové kapesníky), hezký a klidný apartmán přímo v centru města, funkční televize a WiFi, velikou výhodou je klimatizace.
A cozy and well priced apartment in the city center.
The apartment is located perfectly, right in the center of the city, while still at an affordable price. The rooms and the bathroom are spacious and beatiful. The kitchen is well equiped. The owner is kind and responsive.
Be aware that there's a problem with the website of Booking. I wasn't receiving any messages from the owner on how to check in. So I called him and he was very helpful.

A pleasant, comfortable, air-conditioned stay right in the heart of Brno
The location of the property couldn't be better - it's right in the center and easy access to many attractions and restaurants on foot, and to the trams and buses (and even the main train station) for anything further afield. The air conditioning was a real plus as the sun is on the property in the afternoon and it does get quite warm, but the aircon kept it comfortable. The kitchenette is perfect for a short self-catering stay (though I ate out so only used the fridge to keep drinks cold). The host provided most things you could want or need - shower gel, etc. I would definitely stay again! The host was incredibly helpful and friendly and made arrangements for me outside of normal checkin hours which was wonderful!
What could be improved: The only issue I experienced was the shower drain being blocked and slow to drain - the construction of the bathroom means that you can only have a very short shower before you are at risk of flooding the bathroom. However this was minor in the big scheme of things and it wouldn't stop me from booking again.

Отличное расположение, здание легко найти, собственник присылает подробную инструкцию как попасть в номер. В квартире есть ВСЁ, что нужно и даже больше! Чувствуется забота со стороны хозяина. Чисто, удобно, есть большой телевизор, чай, кофе, удобная кровать.
Окна выходят во дворик, поэтому в квартире достаточно тихо. Рядом со зданием - многочисленные кафе, магазины, городские достопримечательности.
В общем, очень рекомендую!

It's a wonderful studio on the third floor,
there is a lift in the building. It is located
in the centre of Brno. 3 min from the centre with main places of interest, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, cafes, museums,
5 min from the central bus station. It is extremely calm and cosy place to stay. Everything's within walking distance!
The view is to a small green courtyard.
That's why it is very quiet at night.
You can hear the birds singing.
The furniture is new, the bathroom is clean,
and you have everything you need.
There's a cooker, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a microwave oven, a fridge,
a TV set, free WiFi.
I felt as if I was at home.
The host gave me precise instructions how
to get to the place, and he was so tolerant to wait for me writing to him, because I arrived late, almost at midnight. Thank you, Milos!!!
I would highly recommend this place.
If /when I go to Brno again, I will choose
the same studio and host. Thank you for everything, Milos! Wish you all the best!
Had a great time in Brno with friends, the accommodation was top-notch, right in the heart of Brno
Stayed at Brno City from March 27 to 29 and had an amazing time! The apartment was super clean, comfy, and had everything I needed. The self check-in was smooth, and Miloš was always quick and helpful whenever I reached out. Brno itself is a charming city—definitely worth visiting. I totally recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Brno city center, this is the right place!
