I mean, you walk into these apartments and they’ve clearly put thought into the details – the kitchenettes are actually functional (not just for show), the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes like some places I’ve stayed, and honestly, the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with a brick all night. The fact that this place has a 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there. The owners – or whoever’s running the show – they actually seem to care, you know? Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises with hidden fees, and when I had a question about where to find decent coffee at 6 AM (because hotel coffee is usually tragic), they pointed me toward this little place just off Moravské náměstí that locals actually go to.

Here’s the thing about staying on Jánská – you’re going to hear some street noise, especially on weekends when people are bar-hopping through the old town, but it dies down by midnight most nights. And honestly? I’d rather deal with a bit of authentic city buzz than be stuck in some soulless business district. Plus, you can walk to Špilberk Castle in fifteen minutes if you’re into that sort of thing, and the tram connections are right there when you need them. The apartments themselves feel more like staying in a friend’s place than a hotel – there’s actual space to spread out, decent storage, and those little touches that make you think someone actually lives in these units sometimes. I’ve stayed in plenty of 4-star places that felt more impersonal and frankly, less comfortable than this spot. For the price point and that location, it’s honestly a no-brainer if you want to actually experience Brno rather than just sleep somewhere generic between tourist stops.
