That’s Zelný trh, and honestly, staying right there at number 40 was one of those happy accidents that turned into the perfect home base. The apartment sits on the fourth floor – yeah, you’ll get your steps in, but the climb is totally worth it because you’re literally living above one of the city’s most authentic spots.
What I loved about this place is how it drops you right into actual Brno life. I mean, you wake up to the sounds of the morning market setting up below (around 6 AM, just so you know), and by the time you’re having your coffee, there’s this incredible energy floating up from the square. The vendors are chatting in Czech, tourists are wandering around with their cameras, and you get this front-row seat to it all. The apartment itself is pretty solid for a 4-star spot – nothing too fancy, but everything works and it’s got that European efficiency thing going on. The windows are decent at blocking noise, which matters because Zelný trh can get lively, especially on weekends when the whole city seems to converge here.
Here’s what actually makes this location brilliant: you’re a two-minute walk from Cabbage Market (that’s what Zelný trh means, by the way), five minutes from the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul if you’re into the touristy stuff, and honestly, some of the best traditional Czech restaurants are just around the corner on Česká street. Parking is… well, it’s tricky like everywhere in old European city centers, but there’s a garage about three blocks away that won’t break the bank. The 7.7 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but it nails the essentials and gives you something most hotels can’t: the feeling that you’re actually living in Brno instead of just visiting. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if you’re the type who’d rather explore neighborhoods than hang out in hotel lobbies. Just bring comfortable shoes for those stairs and maybe some earplugs if you’re a really light sleeper during market days.

great location
The location is just perfect, right in the center, close to everything. The appartment is nicely furbished, sofa is easy to set up as a bed. It is able to accomodate family of 4 if you dont mind sleeping in one room. Wi-fi was quick.
What could be improved: When we came, it was prepared only for 2 guests instead of 4, it was quickly resolved but still not a nice start of the vacation. We didnt use it much but if you expect to cook, the equipment in the kitchen is quite limited and small sizes. No possibility to cover the roof window, the morning light wakes up the person/s sleeping on the sofa.

What could be improved: Propery itself is perfect, it’s just a bit tricky to find it. It’s house #11, not #40 as might somebody think from the name of the appartment. Upper right corner od the square - next to Slast Bar.
Central location with great value
Super convenient location right in the centre, quiet, on the top floor on the building, many great bars and cafes around the corner. Everything one needs is in the apartment.
What could be improved: No windows facing the square, the checkout was too early for my taste.

The apartment has a striking location right in the city center. The room is spacious, and the bed is comfortable. No noise from the neighbors, wifi working perfectly. The kitchenette is there, but I didn't use it.
What could be improved: The silicone lining the shower floor was dirty (mold?) and should be replaced. Heating was turned off when i arrived, but fortunately it heats up quite fast. The view from the window is into the "back yard".

A very well equipped, air conditioned, quiet, and comfortable apartment in Brno city centre. Excellent location!

The apartment was spacious and located in the centre.
What could be improved: When we arrived, we entered the code to get the keys, but there were no keys inside. We had to call to the property manager and she told us that we have to go to a bar that was in the opposite side of the square. After that, when we entered the building, the lift was out of order and we had to carry the suitcase to a 4th floor.
The WiFi didn't worked.

Comfortable, clean , safe and excellent location right in the heart of Brno. Walking distance to all public transport , shops , bars , restaurants.
Easy communication with host, clear instructions for self check in, easy to find.
