But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked into this perfectly central spot in Brno where you can literally walk to Špilberk Castle in about ten minutes, and the main square is maybe a five-minute stroll through those winding cobblestone streets that make you feel like you’re in a fairy tale.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to keep that authentic apartment feel while still giving you proper hotel service. And parking, which is usually a nightmare in European city centers, is actually manageable here. There’s a garage nearby, and they’ll sort out the details for you instead of leaving you to figure it out on your own. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no twenty-minute sales pitch about spa services or breakfast upgrades. That 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here because it’s all those little things working together. You’re close enough to walk everywhere that matters (the cathedral, the old town, those great beer gardens along the river), but far enough from the weekend party zone that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM. It’s the kind of place where you can actually imagine living for a week or two, not just surviving a business trip.
