You know what struck me first about Luxury Apartments Zelny Trh 11? The location is absolutely killer – you’re literally steps from Zelný trh, which is honestly one of the most charming squares in Brno. I mean, wake up and grab your coffee from one of the little cafés right there, then spend your morning wandering through the cabbage market (yes, that’s what Zelný trh means, and locals still call it that). The Gothic church of St. James looms right over you, and honestly, the whole setup feels like you’re living in some medieval fairy tale, except with proper Wi-Fi and modern plumbing.
The apartments themselves are solid – nothing too fancy for a 3-star place, but they’ve got character. I stayed in one of the upper floor units and the ceilings were surprisingly high, which made the space feel bigger than it actually was. The kitchenette situation is pretty decent if you’re planning to do some light cooking (there’s a Tesco just a few blocks down Masarykova if you need groceries), though honestly, with all the great restaurants around here, you might not use it much. One thing that surprised me was how quiet it gets at night – even though you’re in the heart of the old town, once the evening crowds thin out around the square, it’s actually pretty peaceful. The 8.3 rating makes total sense to me; it’s not luxury luxury, but for the price point and location, it delivers exactly what you’d hope for.
What really sets this place apart is that you’re staying where actual Brno life happens, not in some tourist bubble. The square gets busy during market hours (usually wrapping up by early afternoon), and there’s this lovely energy of locals doing their daily shopping while tourists wander around taking photos of the fountain. Walking to Špilberk Castle takes maybe fifteen minutes if you don’t mind a bit of uphill, and you’re close enough to the main pedestrian zone that everything feels walkable. I actually loved the fact that there’s no formal hotel lobby scene – it feels more like you’re borrowing someone’s apartment in the best possible way. Just know that parking can be tricky in this area (it’s mostly pedestrian zones), so if you’re driving, definitely sort that out ahead of time. But honestly, once you’re settled in here, you probably won’t want to leave this little corner of Brno anyway.

Guest Reviews
Location was the best. Right in the heart of Brno.
Easy, flexible self check-in. Location.
Close to the railway station, just in the middle of the old town. Lot of restaurants and coffee shops around.
Great location, easy self-check in. The sleeping area was pleasant, the bed was comfortable and I appreciated the blackout curtains.
Centrally located, clean, comfortable and well-equipped flat.
The host sent me all the necessary information how can we get the key, where is the apartment, etc. The apartment has a perfect location in the center. Its really quiet even on saturday night. Everything is in walking distance. The apartment was clean and well equiped. Parking is problematic but in the weekends the parking is free out of the center area. There are blue lines painted to the street where the parking is free in the weekend.
The apartment is at the heart of the city, the main sights are within walking distance.
There is everything you need to stay for a couple of nights.
The owner gave the detailed explanation of how to get to the apartment, that was very helpful.
The location couldn’t be better. Perfect for a couple of nights.
Fabulous central location, in the very city center of Brno, right on the old vegetable market (Zelny trh). Also the apartment is very close from the main train station (Hlavni Nadraži), just 5-6 minutes walking. The apartment is very clean and pretty spacious. The bed was confortable so I had a good night sleep.
Centrally located, spacious apartment, perfect for 1 or 2 people. Friendly host.
