When I first saw the name “KLIDNÉ A ÚTULNÉ UBYTOVANÍ BRNO STARÝ LÍSKOVEC,” I honestly thought I’d need Google Translate just to check in – but it basically means “quiet and cozy accommodation,” and honestly, that pretty much nails it. This little 3-star spot sits on Malostranská street in Starý Lískovec, which is one of those neighborhoods that feels properly Czech without being touristy. I mean, you’re not going to stumble across crowds of selfie-stick wielding visitors here, but that’s actually the point.
The thing about staying in Starý Lískovec is that you get this authentic slice of Brno life – there’s a tram stop nearby that’ll get you into the city center in about 15 minutes, but when you come back in the evening, it’s genuinely quiet. Like, you can actually hear birds instead of traffic, which is sort of rare for a city accommodation. The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense Central European feel – thick walls that keep the noise out and the warmth in. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward (none of that overly complicated key card system that never works), and the staff spoke enough English to sort things out, though having a translation app handy doesn’t hurt. The rooms are what you’d expect from a well-maintained 3-star – clean, functional, with that particular Eastern European attention to practical details. The beds are actually comfortable, not those rock-hard mattresses you sometimes get, and there’s decent storage space for your stuff.
What I really appreciated was the parking situation – and trust me, if you’re driving in Brno, this matters more than fancy bathroom amenities. There’s space available, and you don’t have to circle the block for twenty minutes or pay through the nose for it. The neighborhood has this lived-in quality where you’ll see locals walking their dogs and kids playing in small parks, plus there are a few proper Czech pubs within walking distance where you can grab dinner without breaking the bank. The 7.6 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be something fancy, but it does what it promises well. If you want to experience Brno like someone who actually lives there rather than just passing through, and you prefer sleeping somewhere genuinely peaceful after a day of city exploring, this place delivers. Just don’t expect room service or a concierge – think of it more like staying at your practical Czech friend’s well-organized guest room.
Hotel in Brno booking should be done early, especially during MotoGP season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed motorcycle racing events.

Ubytování je v neuvěřitelně klidné lokalitě, s městskou hromadnou dopravou nadosah - na toulání po Brně přesně to pravé, za velmi dobrou cenu. Čistota a starostlivost majitele 100%.
What could be improved: Mě osobně chyběla jen alespoň malá kuchyňská linka (pro pohodlnější přípravu rodinné snídaně či večeře) a také absence lampičky u postelí (nejen pro milovníky nočního čtení).

dobra poloha - blizko vystaviste (autem), u dalnice. Apartman je veliky, prostorny, vesla by se i 5. postel (vyjimecne jsme jeli ve 4, bezne nas je 5)
What could be improved: chybi kuchynka, nevadilo to nicmene je pohodlnejsi mit drez a aspon plotynku na vareni, jedna postel nebyla pohodlna ale ale prespali jsme v poradku

The view at the garden is great. Nice that we could use the kettle and microwave.
The room and bathroom were very spacious. The hosts communicated about the arrival and the keys very effectively, the check in went good.
What could be improved: The kitchen facilities could be extended, there is enough space for that ;)
We were surprised that the travel time to the city center significantly increased on working day, after drove during the weekend at first
Víkendový pobyt - 2 dospělí, 2 děti
Velký světlý apartmán s vybavením jak je popsáno v nabídce. K dispozici ručníky i toaletní potřeby. Venku opravdu pěkná zahrada, děti ráno sledovaly zavlažování trávníku a ptactvo, nejlepší zábava :) Paní Thuy byla velice pozorná a dala mi instrukce, jak zvýšit teplotu, protože byl zrovna chladný víkend. Nic dalšího jsme nepotřebovali.
What could be improved: Na to jak je apartmán velký je vlastně škoda, že tam není kuchyňka, ale jen lednice, mikrovlnka, konvice, odkladací stolek, jedna židle a jídelní nádobí. Takže na delší pobyt by to nebylo. Dovnitř se vstupuje balkonovými dveřmi, a je zde ohraničená zóna na přezouvání, přesto by bylo fajn podél okna umístit nějakou lavici/ botník. Každopádně byť by se dalo zařídit ještě více útulněji a praktičtěji, vše bylo jako v nabídce ubytování a není na co si stěžovat.
I was not satisfied unfortunately
It was close to Brno central. just 15 min by car. And accommodation was very quiet. room size was fine for 4 ppl. (2 adults and 2 small children)
What could be improved: it was hard to park the car in the street.Hor
water run out quickly.. no kitchen at all. i couldn’t drink even if coffee in the morning. blankets smell bad…
Hodnotím to teda ako super ubytko v pomere ceny a kvality.
Ubytovanie ma super pri mestkú lokalitu, kde ponuka prechadzku v prírode, ale aj komplexné strageciké pripojenie na dialnicu, blizko nakupneho centra a jedalenských možností. Ubytovanie je v krásnej zahrade, je vybavené ako vidité na obrázkoch nič špecialne pre solo hráča vyhovujúce ale pre skupinky je to forma prespatia a angažovania sa mimo ubytovania.
What could be improved: Ubytovanie má trošku staršie okná cez ktoré všetko počuť z vonku a jemne zafukuje, čo si vykompenzujete topením. Osobne odporúčam najprv vyššiou teplotou a potom ju stiahnuť počas pobytu aby sa trošku nahriali aj múry.
