Walking up to Hotel Vista on Hudcova Street, you immediately get the sense that this place knows what it’s doing. The building itself has that solid, understated European charm that you find throughout Brno, and honestly, that’s exactly what you want when you’re exploring this underrated Czech city.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I love about the location — you’re close enough to the city center that you can walk to most places, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with tourist crowds right outside your door. The area around Hudcova is actually pretty residential, which means you get to see how locals really live in Brno. There’s parking right at the hotel too, which is honestly a godsend if you’re doing a road trip through the Czech Republic. I mean, finding parking in European city centers can be a nightmare, so having that sorted from day one just makes everything easier.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a solid four-star property — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. Nothing groundbreaking, but everything worked perfectly. The beds are actually really comfortable (you know how hit-or-miss hotel beds can be), and the bathrooms are modern without being sterile.
