The neighborhood itself is pretty ideal, actually. Parking was surprisingly painless too, which anyone who’s driven in European city centers will appreciate. What impressed me most was how the hotel felt properly Czech without trying too hard, if that makes sense. No over-the-top folkloric decorations or tourist-trap vibes, just solid hospitality with a local touch. The kind of place where you end up having actual conversations with other guests at breakfast instead of everyone staring at their phones. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels with fancier amenities and higher price tags, but there’s something to be said for a place that just gets the fundamentals right and makes you feel like you’re actually visiting Brno, not just sleeping in some generic hotel that happens to be located there.
