Look, I’ll be straight with you about Euro Apartments Křenová 75 – it’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be fancy, but honestly? That’s exactly what makes it work. When I first walked up to the building on Křenová street, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior (it’s pretty standard Eastern European residential), but once you’re inside, you realize this is actually what apartment living in Brno feels like for real people. The thing is, Křenová runs right through one of those transitional neighborhoods where you’ve got locals doing their daily shopping mixed with students from Masaryk University, so you’re not stuck in some sterile tourist bubble. I mean, there’s a decent hospoda just two blocks down where I never heard a word of English the entire time – which, you know what, I loved.

The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious for the price point, and whoever set them up actually thought about how people live day-to-day. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show – you can actually cook a proper meal, though the nearest Albert supermarket is about a ten-minute walk (totally doable, but factor that in if you’re planning to stock up on groceries). What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re still close enough to the city center that a quick tram ride gets you to náměstí Svobody in maybe fifteen minutes. The building itself has this solid, no-nonsense feel – thick walls, reliable heating (crucial in Brno winters, trust me), and the kind of sturdy fixtures that won’t break if you look at them wrong. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that overly complicated key card system that always seems to fail when you’re carrying groceries.

Here’s the thing about staying here – you’re not getting spa services or a concierge, but you are getting an honest taste of how this city actually works. The tram stop on Křenová puts you on line 1, which basically connects you to everywhere you’d want to go, from Špilberk Castle to the main train station. And honestly, for an 8.6 rating, I can see why – it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. The neighborhood has this lived-in authenticity that a lot of Brno still maintains, where you’ll see the same faces at the corner bakery each morning and actually feel like you’re experiencing the city rather than just passing through it. Sure, it’s not glamorous, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want – a clean, comfortable base where you can spread out your stuff, maybe cook dinner while planning tomorrow’s wandering, and fall asleep to the sound of a city that’s going about its regular business instead of performing for tourists.

Close to Central train station, easy to find. Very welcoming staff, always available on messenger during working hours.
Apartment is very clean, all furniture is new, comfortable big bed, kitchen with not much, but enough dishes to cook simple food.
I felt secure since the front door is locked and apartment door can be locked, too.
I needed ironing board and hair dryier, they weren't in the room, but were brought to me upon request.
And there is a small shop downstairs in the next building where you can buy food and coffee. Open daily 6a.m. - 11p.m.
The street is quite noisy in the early morning, but earbuds are provided.

Euro Apartments are just two stops away from the main train station, which was my top priority while choosing a place to stay. The room was quite big and most of the things seemed new. Leijla was very prompt at responding to messages and very polite. The price also was within my budget. I was never out late at night so I am not sure if it is safe at night but during the day definitely.

Apartment is really big and spacious. It Has a great location, 10-15 minutes from the old town on foot. Great contact with the owner, helped me with the matter of parking. We only made a stop there for one night on our way home but it's good place for longer stay.

Clean and tidy self catering flat, modern bathroom, bed was ok, I could sleep well, reasonably equipped kitchen, good for a proper breakfast, although the house is located in a busy street the flat is quiet, so the windows are well sound-proof, very nice and helpful landlady, so all in all recommendable
