First Impressions
Walking up to Apartmán Hybešova2 on the first floor of a classic Brno building, you immediately get that “local living” vibe rather than typical hotel sterility. The three-star apartment sits right in the heart of the city, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. I mean, you’re literally steps away from everything that makes Brno interesting — the old town squares, cafes tucked into medieval corners, and those winding cobblestone streets that actually lead somewhere worth going.
The Space
The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel room, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to experience a city authentically. It’s got that comfortable, lived-in quality without being worn down — you know what I mean? The setup works really well for couples (which explains why so many pairs rate it highly), with enough space to spread out but cozy enough that you’re not rattling around in some oversized suite. The kitchen area is actually functional too, not just decorative, so you can grab groceries from the local markets and have breakfast without hunting for an open cafe at 7 AM.
Location Perks
Here’s where Apartmán Hybešova2 really shines — the neighborhood puts you right in the mix of real Brno life. You can walk to Špilberk Castle in about ten minutes, but you’re also surrounded by the kind of local pubs and restaurants where you won’t see another tourist all evening. The tram connections are solid from here, though honestly, you’ll probably end up walking most places because everything feels surprisingly close once you get your bearings. There’s something about being on Hybešova street specifically that feels authentically Czech rather than touristy.
Daily Life
What I really appreciated was how the place lets you settle into a rhythm — morning coffee while planning your day, then heading out to explore without feeling rushed to check out or conform to hotel schedules. The 7.5 rating makes sense when you consider it’s not trying to be something it’s not. It’s comfortable, well-located, and functional rather than flashy. The building has character (these older Brno structures always do), and you get a real sense of living in the city center rather than just visiting it.
Why Guests Love It
The combination of location and authentic atmosphere really sets this apart from standard hotel stays. Couples especially seem to connect with the intimate scale and the way it puts you right into Brno’s daily rhythm. You’re not isolated in some hotel district — you’re actually in the city, hearing the morning trams and evening conversations from the street below. For the price point of a three-star property, you’re getting an experience that feels much more personal and connected to the place you’re visiting. It’s the kind of spot where you might actually extend your stay just because leaving feels like leaving home.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Brno at least two months ahead for major events like MotoGP or technology conferences, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near attractions.

Guest Reviews
Apartment is large, clean, big bathroom.
Good location to get to the old town on foot. Dedicated parking space, which we could use for 3 hrs after the check out time. It was great and allowed us to pack our stuff and walk up to visit the nearby castle before we left the city. Small grocery stores just next door and opposite opened even on a Sunday (such a nice change from Poland ;)) We were travelling with 2 dogs and were not charged extra (unless that was automatically done and
I have not noticed! :) ) Friendly host responded to our messages even at 8 am on a Sunday!

Nice and clean room. Really close to the city center. There is a tram stop nearby. Grocery shop just across the street. Moreover, you can park a car nearby.
Quite big, good facilities.

Central position and I think this is the only positive thing.
