APARTIA Brno center
So I ended up at APARTIA Brno center kind of by accident – my original booking fell through and this place had availability last minute.
So I ended up at APARTIA Brno center kind of by accident – my original booking fell through and this place had availability last minute. Honestly? Best travel mishap I’ve had in ages. It’s tucked away on Bratislavská street, which sounds fancy but it’s actually this wonderfully normal residential area where you’ll hear Czech conversations drifting from apartment windows and smell coffee brewing from the café downstairs in the mornings.
The thing about APARTIA is that it gets the apartment-hotel concept right in a way most places mess up. I mean, you’ve got proper kitchen setups with decent-sized fridges (not those mini-bar things that barely fit a sandwich), and the living spaces actually feel like someone lives there rather than a sterile hotel room with a kitchenette slapped in. The furnishings are sort of modern-meets-practical – nothing too fancy, but comfortable enough that I found myself working from the little dining table instead of hunched over my laptop in bed. The Wi-Fi was solid too, which honestly surprised me given how thick some of these old Brno building walls are.
What really sold me on the place was how it sits in the city. You’re maybe a fifteen-minute walk to the main square – and it’s a pleasant walk, not some sketchy route through construction zones. The tram stop is practically outside your door, and you know what? That tram will get you anywhere in Brno worth going. I kept ending up at this little Vietnamese place called Saigon (locals will know the one) just two blocks over, and there’s a proper grocery store – not just tourist-priced mini-marts – within easy walking distance. The neighborhood gets quiet at night, which I appreciated after spending days wandering around the busier tourist areas. Though I should mention, if you’re someone who needs to be right in the thick of nightlife, you’ll want to factor in that tram ride back home.
Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that “we’ll hold your luggage but your room won’t be ready for four hours” nonsense. The staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood well enough to give real recommendations, not just the standard tourist checklist. One thing though – parking isn’t included and street parking around there can be a bit of a puzzle, especially during the week when locals are all vying for spots. But honestly, with the tram connections, I barely used my car after the first day. For a 3-star rating, this place punches way above its weight. It’s the kind of spot where you start planning your next Brno trip before you’ve even checked out.

What could be improved: neighborhood was not nice at all, garbage everywhere along Bratislavska street, quite unbelievable that you can find such a mess so close to center of Brno, quite unbelievable that you can find such a nice apartments in such a dirty place
Suggestion: please add headboards to the beds
Wonderful
Clean modern apartments with almost all essential amenities. Available parking. Close to the center where there are pubs with delicious Czech beer :)
What could be improved: Figuring out how to open parking was not a trivial task :) Perhaps a small schematic picture could solve the problem. There was no hairdryer.
When you know what you know, you visit Brno.
I liked that it had good amenities like fridge, iron, fan, smart TV, breakfast bar, microwave and small hob.
What could be improved: I was accosted by some local youths you who were disrespectful and annoying. There were quite a lot of kids roaming the streets.
Exceptional
excellent apartments in a new residential complex. clean, cozy, quiet. free parking
What could be improved: during my visit the coffee machine was not working
Exceptional
Excellent communication very understanding housekeeping
What could be improved: Nothing
Very Good
The appartment was very decent. Everything feels nice, modern and stylish. There are some signs of use, but nothing disturbing. The entire complex feels really nice.
What could be improved: The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, especially at night there were many wierd individuals on the streets outside the hotel. Luckily it goes just for about 2-3 blocks, where already the Brno center starts and we fellt much more relaxed there.
Everything OK, to some minor things
Properly was new and clean
What could be improved: I didn’t like that 5 minutes before check out cleaning lady opened the door without any knocking.
Also, location was quite weird
