The rooms have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to find in most hotels – proper kitchenettes with full-size fridges (not those tiny minibars), decent counter space, and cookware that people have clearly used and cared for. The beds are surprisingly good too, none of that rock-hard hotel mattress nonsense. I slept better there than I have in some fancy chain places, honestly. The staff runs it like they actually live in the neighborhood, if that makes sense – they know which coffee shop opens earliest, where to grab groceries after 9 PM, that sort of local intel you can’t Google.

What really sells the place though is how quiet it gets at night, even with the apartment-style setup where you’ve got families and longer-term guests mixed in with regular travelers. The soundproofing is solid, and there’s this nice rhythm to the building that feels more residential than touristy. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no complicated key card systems, just “here’s your room, here’s how the WiFi works, call if you need anything.” The housekeeping strikes this perfect balance where they’re thorough but not invasive, and they actually restock the kitchen basics, which is clutch if you’re planning to eat in occasionally. Parking was easier than expected too, though I’d still recommend asking about spots when you book. The whole place has this understated confidence about it – they know they’re doing something right, so they don’t feel the need to oversell it with flashy lobbies or over-the-top amenities. It’s just solid, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming in a way that makes you want to book again before you’ve even checked out.
