There’s a great coffee spot literally around the corner – locals line up there every morning, which is always a good sign. You can walk to most of the main attractions, and I noticed several good restaurants within a few blocks that weren’t the typical overpriced tourist traps. Parking can be tricky if you’re driving, but honestly, you won’t need a car much from here. The neighborhood feels safe walking around, even later in the evening, and there’s actually some nightlife nearby if that’s your thing. What impressed me most was how the hotel maintains its character while still hitting the basics really well – hot water that stays hot, air conditioning that works, and rooms that are genuinely clean. For a 3-star place, it punches above its weight. The 8.1 rating makes total sense once you spend a night there.
