The apartment itself has this lived-in comfort that’s way better than sterile hotel perfection. I’d usually stroll over to Špilberk Castle in about fifteen minutes, or head the other direction toward the modern shopping areas when I needed supplies. Parking was never the nightmare I’d prepared for – there’s usually something nearby, though I learned to avoid the main streets during rush hour (locals drive like they’re late for everything important). The tram connections are solid too, which meant I could explore beyond the city center without planning my whole day around getting back. What strikes me most is how this place manages to feel both central and residential – you’re close enough to everything that matters, but when you come home at night, it’s actually quiet enough to sleep well.
