First Impressions
Walking up to Brno Center View Apartement A – with self check-in on Vlhká street, you immediately get that “I’m in the heart of things” feeling. This three-star property sits right in Brno‘s city center, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The self check-in system works smoothly — you get your codes via email, punch them in, and you’re sorted. No waiting around for reception staff or awkward small talk when you just want to drop your bags.
The Space Itself
The apartment feels more spacious than you’d expect from the photos. I mean, it’s not huge, but there’s actual room to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase for your entire stay. The kitchen setup is pretty decent — you’ve got a proper fridge, stovetop, and all the basics if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Tesco and cook something simple. The view from the windows actually lives up to the name, giving you a nice perspective over the city center streets below.
Location Perks
Here’s what I really appreciated — you can walk to pretty much everything from here. Špilberk Castle is maybe a 15-minute stroll uphill, and the main shopping areas are literally around the corner. The tram stops are close enough that you’ll hear them occasionally, but not so close that they’ll wake you up at night. Couples seem to really get this location (they rate it 8.5, which makes sense), probably because you can easily walk to dinner spots without needing to figure out public transport or spend money on taxis.
Practical Considerations
The building itself is older — you know, that classic Central European architecture — so don’t expect modern hotel amenities like a concierge or daily housekeeping. But that’s sort of the point with these self-catering places. Parking can be tricky since you’re right in the center, though there are paid spots nearby if you’re driving. The Wi-Fi works fine for basic stuff, and the heating keeps things comfortable during Brno’s chilly months. Just keep in mind that with a 7.2 rating, this isn’t going to be perfect — there might be minor maintenance issues or quirks that come with staying in an older building.
Why Guests Love It
What really works here is the combination of independence and location. You get your own space to come and go as you please, plus you’re positioned perfectly to explore Brno on foot. Recent guests have been rating the location 8.7, and after staying here, I get why — it’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it. For the price point of a three-star place, you’re getting access to one of the best neighborhoods in Brno, which honestly feels like pretty good value when you factor in how much you’ll save on transport and how much more you’ll see just by walking around.
To book hotel in Brno during the famous Brno Circuit MotoGP season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts motorsport enthusiasts and cultural travelers from around the world.

Guest Reviews
Conveniently located, close to the centre (less than 10 minutes walk).
good location
Great location close to the centre, amazing view of the city, great value.
Very close to center, well decorated small flat and great city view.
Apartement itself is nice with great view. Building and flat are renovated in a nice way. Even though the location is close to Cejl which is not the best part of Brno we felt mostly safe here so this is something that you should not worry.
After the initial very significant problems the apartment was fine.
