First Impressions
Walking into Apartment Brno feels like discovering a well-kept secret right in the middle of Brno‘s historic center. The building sits on Jakubské náměstí, and honestly, you couldn’t ask for a better spot — I mean, you’re literally surrounded by centuries-old architecture and that authentic Central European charm that makes you want to wander around with your camera all day. This three-star property doesn’t try to be flashy, but there’s something genuinely welcoming about the way it blends into the neighborhood while still feeling like a proper place to stay.
The Heart of Old Town
What really struck me about this location is how effortlessly you can explore everything on foot. You know what’s great? You step outside and you’re already in the thick of things — the old town square is just a few minutes away, and those winding cobblestone streets that lead to St. Peter and Paul Cathedral are right there waiting for you. I noticed couples seem particularly drawn to this area (apparently they rate the location 9.8 out of 10), and I get it — there’s something romantic about having all those little cafés and historic spots within such easy reach. The tram connections are solid too, so getting to other parts of Brno is actually pretty straightforward.
Your Home Base
The apartment setup here works really well, especially if you’re planning to stay more than just a night or two. Each unit has its own kitchen area — nothing fancy, but you’ve got what you need if you want to grab some local ingredients from the nearby markets and cook something simple. The room layouts feel thoughtfully designed rather than cramped, and there’s enough space to actually unpack and settle in properly. I appreciated the attention to practical details, like having good lighting for reading and enough outlets for all your devices (you know how that goes when traveling).
The Neighborhood Experience
Living here for a few days gives you a real taste of local Brno life. There’s this great little restaurant scene developing around the square — not touristy stuff, but places where you’ll hear more Czech than English, which I always take as a good sign. The morning routine becomes pretty pleasant too: you can walk to several different bakeries for fresh pastries, and there’s something satisfying about knowing your way around the narrow streets after just a day or two. Parking can be a bit tricky in this part of town (it’s old Europe, after all), but the property helps sort that out.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.3 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here — it’s one of those places that just gets the basics right without any unnecessary complications. You’re not paying for a spa or elaborate amenities you might not use anyway, but you are getting an authentic Brno experience in a spot that locals would actually choose to live in. The combination of being centrally located but still feeling residential rather than touristy is pretty rare, and honestly, that’s what makes this place work so well for travelers who want to experience the city rather than just pass through it.

Excellent location, close to everything
Compact but comfortable.
Great location, near old town center and sites. Shower is tiny but great water pressure. Comfortable bed and very good bed linens. Quiet. Good wifi.
The apartment was in the middle of downtown, in a lovely building - and very modern inside. A neighbor showed us that there is a door directly to the street, avoiding 15 steps before reaching the lift. It's very useful when you have luggage. The host was always very helpful and give us the opportunity for an early check in. The communication was fast and easy in message. Check in process was fluent - some days before our arrival. This apartment (28) was very quiet, in an excellent condition, AC was perfect. The beds were amazing!

Very comfortable bed.
Easy coded entrance
Everything smoothless, clean apartment, good bed, great location.
