I mean, there are a few quirks – the shower takes a minute to get properly hot, and you’ll hear your neighbors if they’re particularly chatty – but nothing that would make me book somewhere else next time.

What really won me over was how the place sits in the neighborhood. You’re not stuck in some tourist bubble where everything costs twice what it should. There’s this little bakery about two blocks away that locals actually line up at in the mornings (trust me, get there before 9 AM), and you can walk to the main areas without feeling like you need to plan an expedition. Parking was surprisingly manageable too – I was dreading that whole European city parking nightmare, but there’s actually street parking nearby if you’re not picky about walking a few minutes. The 7.7 rating makes sense to me because it delivers on what matters without any pretense. It’s clean, functional, and positioned well enough that you feel like you’re experiencing the real rhythm of the city rather than just passing through it. Honestly, for the price point, I’d book it again without hesitation.
