APARTIA apartments Brno-center
You know what caught me off guard about APARTIA?
You know what caught me off guard about APARTIA? I was expecting another generic apartment hotel, but this place actually feels like someone put real thought into it. The location on Bratislavská is honestly perfect – you’re right in the heart of Brno but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with constant tram noise all night. I mean, you’ll still hear the city (it’s Brno center, not a monastery), but it’s that comfortable urban hum rather than party chaos.
The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious for a 3-star place. I’ve stayed in “luxury” hotels with smaller rooms, honestly. What really works here is the layout – they didn’t just cram a kitchenette into a corner and call it an apartment. You actually have room to spread out, and the kitchen setup is functional enough that you could legitimately cook if you wanted to (though with all the amazing Czech food around, why would you?). The building itself has that solid Central European feel – thick walls, proper windows, none of that flimsy modern construction that makes you feel like you’re living in a cardboard box. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no corporate script, just practical people who know their neighborhood and can point you toward the good stuff.
What I really appreciate is how they’ve nailed that sweet spot between hotel convenience and apartment freedom. You’re a five-minute walk from Náměstí Svobody, which puts you right in the mix of everything, but you can also duck into a Tesco if you need supplies or just want to live like a normal person for a few days. The area around Bratislavská has this great mix of locals and visitors – you’ll see office workers grabbing coffee alongside tourists trying to figure out the tram system. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle (welcome to any European city center), but there are options if you dig around. The 8.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything just… works. Staff seems to actually live in Brno and can give you real recommendations instead of generic tourist trap suggestions. I’d definitely book here again, especially if I was staying more than a couple nights and wanted to feel less like a tourist and more like a temporary local.

Very Good
The apartment was great, near the center, convenient check-in, no hosts, only we reserved a parking space, which we didn't get when we arrived, all the spaces were taken in their closed parking lot.The host could not be contacted regarding parking space.
Very Good
Simple and easy check-in, nice and clean room. The area is strange (for Budapest residents: 8th district), but the city center and many shops are close. The accommodation is suitable for a 2-3 day stay. The bed was very comfortable!
Very Good
Very safe facility, comfy room.
What could be improved: The location was a bit strange and dark at night. Also, it is 15 minutes on foot to the city center.
Very Good
All good, just finding out which apartment was mine was very confusing. I did not manage without help of some random person there. After this all perfect.
It’s a nice apartment, not far from train, bus station and the city centre.
The apartment had all what’s needed.
What could be improved: Description how to get to the apartment missed one information for night check-in when the car park gate is closed and therefore not visible from outside. That made it a bit confusing.
Wonderful
It was quiet. Good heating. Good bathroom. Excellent communication with the host.
What could be improved: Sheets are rough. No coffee, no hairdryer.
Probably video of instruction regarding operation of the gate, doors, etc could be comfortable
All was all right.
What could be improved: Instruction about operation of the gate.
Wonderful
Very clean, comfortable, wifi well working, kitchen equipped, nice bathroom, wide shower box.
What could be improved: The cooker, has only one plate.
The apartment itself is good, but not the surroundings
Clean. Even though we had a ground floor, it was a closed area in front of our windows, so none was walking around.
What could be improved: Looks not safe surroundings - many gipsies around. Some of them (woman/children) stay in front of the main entrance to the apartment block and look to you suspicious.
Wonderful
Location, simple and clean rooms
What could be improved: Nothing to mention
