The tram connections are actually brilliant from here – you can get to Špilberk Castle or the main train station without any hassle. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but there are paid spots nearby, and the staff was pretty helpful about explaining the local parking zones (which, let’s be honest, can be confusing in any Czech city). Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no endless paperwork or upselling, just here’s your key, here’s how things work, enjoy your stay. The 8.5 rating makes perfect sense when you add it all up; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Brno, but it delivers exactly what you need with that extra bit of attention that makes you feel like they actually care whether you have a good time.
